Accounting and Administrative Assistant – Part-time
The LA Group Landscape Architecture and Engineering, P.C, a Saratoga Springs based multi-disciplinary firm is seeking a part-time (30 hours per week) Accounting and Administrative Assistant. The qualified candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, with a minimum of an associate degree.
The qualified candidate will assist all our service groups, marketing department and Business office with day-to-day office administrative support. The position will report to the Director of Finance/CFO.
Requirements
- Proficient editing, formatting, and proofing skills.
- Proficient English composition skills are required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel).
- Basic bookkeeping and/or accounting skills are a plus as this position will involve about 15-20 hours a week of data entry into our accounting system, accounts payable and some billing.
- Assist CFO on special projects as needed.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites CS5 and PowerPoint are a plus.
- General document formatting, file management and record keeping skills required.
- Ability to grasp and follow instructions.
- Answer and maintain eight-line phone system.
- Must have ability to interact well with both clients and staff.
- Responsible for outgoing mail and overnight mail.
Compensation
Salary Range: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour annually plus benefits.
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits.
