Public Participation/Community Involvement

Community involvement is the cornerstone of The LA Group’s design development process. As such, public participation programs are tailored for each individual project. At project initiation, we sit with the client to build the community participation components that are best suited for the project and which will result in the greatest input from the community.

Examples of program components include public meetings, work shop design charettes, small group interaction work sessions, open house formats, written surveys, interactive web sites, utilization of resident volunteers, photo essay assignments, etc.

The result of the implementation of the customized program is consistent, high quality interaction that translates into responsive and creative design.
