The LA Group’s projects have received numerous awards since its inception over 30 years ago. We are proud to be recognized by many pre-eminent organizations, as well as our esteemed colleagues. The LA Group believes the key to our success is that our technical knowledge is balanced with our ability to work with a site's natural features, the vernacular of the region, and the area's history, culture, and ecology, to create a sense of place for our clients. Inc. 5000 - The LA Group was named one of the fastest-growing private companies in America, 2007. 2007 & 2006, The Capital District Business Review (CDBR) named the LA Group as the largest landscape architectural firm in the capital region.

The LA Group was named one of the “Great Places To Work” in 2005 by CDBR. Small Business of the Year Award was given to the LA Group by the CDBR in 1994. The LA Group ranked as the 7th largest engineering firm in the capital region by the CDBR in 2006.
